Special Trip to Brooklands Museum
(The Birthplace of British Motorsport and Aviation).
Friday 16th July 2010
Departing The Shoppers Car Park at Martlesham Heath at 06:30
We will have a comfort stop on the way, aiming to arrive at 10:15-10:30 a.m.
The Programme for the day:
10.30am arrival. Make your way to tea rooms where you will meet your guides.
10.45am Tours start – group divides into 3 if we have a full coach load.
12.45pm – Lunch
1.50pm – Concorde Experience Tour group 1
2.25pm – Concorde Experience Tour group 2
2.50pm – Concorde Experience Tour group 3
The group is then able to look around the site for the rest of the day and depart at leisure.
Departure time of 16:45. Arrival time back at Martlesham est. 20:00
We have the opportunity to have a 2 course lunch + tea/coffee in their Cafeteria, in a separate room, with a cash bar available. However this lunch is extra, at £15 per person.
The money for this will be collected in advance, and paid over to them on arrival.
PLEASE NOTE: for us to have this option, at least 25 people will have to go for this option.
We used this option on our trip to Bletchley Park, and this extra treat was much appreciated by those that went, providing a more civilised lunch, with the opportunity to chat to fellow members and friends.
The minimum number for a meal in a separate room is 25 people.
Please let me know if you would like this option.
Others may use the tea rooms for lunch or have a picnic outside if the weather is good but please note you may only eat in the tea rooms food that has been purchased there.

Finally, when Booking This Trip I require in the first instance, at least a
NON-REFUNDABLE £15 Booking Deposit to cover the considerable cost of hiring the Coach.

The Cost for Trip, entrance, tours, WITHOUT LUNCH will be £34:00
This is the cost for a Group of 30.
With a full coach of 53, the cost per person will reduce, and a refund of approx £5 per person would be given for a full coach, probably on the coach on the day, with a pro-rata refund for less than 53 !
